Fairfield Twp. Veterans Memorial Project Gets Biggest Donation Yet

An Ohio community's veterans memorial is one step closer to being built after a $10,000 donation from a local financial institution, WCPO reports.
TheurGroup Financial Credit Union donated the money to the Fairfield Twp.
Veterans Memorial project, which is raising funds to build a 67-foot- diameter memorial that will feature granite monuments honoring the US Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
"This memorial is a respectful tribute to our local veterans and a physical reminder to others of the sacrifice so many gave for our freedom," theurGroup Financial Credit Union's chief development officer says in a press release.
